“Excuse the lengthy letter, I had no time to be brief”…

is a quote credited to several brilliant minds, including Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Blaise Pascal. We at Espresso Tutorials have taken the liberty to make this quote our company motto. It is our goal to write e-books that are short, yet deliver information equivalent to a much thicker print book.

Given that we are no geniuses and that our time is limited, how do we hope to accomplish this? First of all by focusing on one subject only, and by concentrating on the essentials. We are aiming to explain things precisely to the point and to illustrate them with examples so they are easier to understand. Secondly, the two of us together can look back at 25 years of experience with SAP software we have an understanding of what the essentials are. Thirdly, we make use of the potential of the latest e-book reading devices, namely tablet computers. Instead of filling 10 pages with screenshots to explain a process in SAP ERP, we will provide a video enhanced with audio comments to do the same.

The three points above sum up the idea of Espresso Tutorials, the publishing company we have founded. Like a cup of espresso coffee, we want our e-books to be short and effective. We want to deliver information condensed and straight to the point so that it takes our readers only a short time to consume it. On the other hand, our e-books have the character of tutorials, as the videos we are providing show you step by step how to work with the SAP system.
