This book is geared towards ABAP developers and offers detailed information on how to use SAP List Viewer (ALV) to display business data with an interface that lets users rearrange, sort, total, and download data. Using transaction code se38 (or se80, if you prefer), type a name for the new program, then click on the create button. (I have used the name ZKK_ALV_FM for this initial program.) Complete the Type and Status fields (Figure 2.2), then click on the save button. When prompted for the Package, click on the Local Object button. This fills the Package field with $TMP and positions your cursor in the new program.
